Product Description
SPY488-FastAct™ is a bright, green, fluorogenic & non-toxic F-actin stain based on our SPY™ dyes series. Its optimized structure allows to label F-actin in live cells with high specificity and low background. The unique and unmatched feature of SPY488-FastAct™ is its ability to label very dynamic actin, like LifeAct™** but the probe does not require any genetic manipulation, transfection or overexpression of fluorescent proteins. SPY488-FastAct™ is based on a bright, photostable & green SPY™ fluorophore which is superior to fluorescent proteins like GFP.
SPY488-FastAct™ enables multicolor imaging with SPY555, SPY595, SPY620 SPY650, SPY700, SiR or m-cherry. SPY488-FastAct™ can be imaged with standard GFP or FITC settings. It can be used for widefield, confocal, SIM or STED imaging of living cells and tissue. Probe quantity allows 100 staining experiments.*
