Announcing Nine New Products: 2 Golgi Probes & 7 HaloTag™ Ligands Products Now Available.

We are thrilled to introduce nine new products to our portfolio, including two innovative probes for live-cell imaging of the Golgi apparatus: SPY650-Golgi and SPY555-Golgi.

Both probes are derivatives of asparagusic acid, as detailed in the article by Saidbakhrom Saidjalolov et al., “Asparagusic Golgi Trackers”. These probes label the Golgi apparatus in live cells within minutes and remain stable through fixation, offering researchers maximum versatility in their experiments.

In addition, we are excited to introduce six new HaloTag™ ligands. This includes five fluorogenic, cell-permeable ChloroAlkane (CA) ligands that span the visible spectrum—from green to far-red—featuring SiR and SPY™ fluorophores. These highly cell-permeable ligands enable rapid labeling of intracellular HaloTag™ fusion proteins with fast kinetics.

We further present Halo-Flipper, a localizable Flipper-TR™ membrane tension probe using Halo-tag™ as a precise subcellular localization handle. Developed and reported by Stefan Matile’s group in Geneva, Halo-Flipper enables accurate measurement of membrane tension, opening new possibilities for research on membrane mechanodynamics.

Finally, we are delighted to introduce a new Kit concept that combines multiple Spirochrome probes into a single product, offering maximum flexibility for researchers. The first kit in this line is the CA-TestKit, which includes our three new HaloTag™ substrates: SPY505-CA, SPY555-CA, and SiR-CA. These substrates provide wide-ranging flexibility for labeling HaloTag™ fusion proteins in both live and fixed cells, covering three common imaging channels: FITC (green), TMR/Cy3 (orange), and Cy5 (far-red).
